Beach Retreat 10/19 - 10/22/17
WHY COME TO A RETREAT? To take time for yourself!
To relax, renew, and restore your health and well-being. To find
your own inner rhythms. To awaken your innate inner powers of
self-discovery and joy through the ancient yet timeless practices
of yoga postures and breathing, mindfulness, and community
connection. To take the time to stroll the beach, swim, gaze at
the stars, and quiet your mind and body. To be with a supportive
group when you want and also have time for solitude. To move,
dance, swim, circle, meditate, rest, enjoy spring at the beach,
and do lots of yoga!
Space is very limited, so please register early to hold your place by making a
minimum deposit of $150.
RETREAT COST (Friday through Sunday): $500

Deposit of $150 will hold your space. Deposit is non-refundable after 8/24/17.
Payment in full is requested by 9/28/17 to assure your space.
No refunds after 10/05/17. No exceptions.
We encourage you to purchase travel insurance.
I hope you will join me for this special time of diving into yoga, rejuvenation,
and fun! Prior yoga experience is helpful but not necessary.
The retreat is best suited for those free from current major physical challenges.

meditations, visualizations, and pranayama. You will learn and practice easy, natural
approaches to mindfulness that we will apply throughout the weekend and that you
can take home with you. You will have the chance to listen deeply to your own needs
and be guided by your intuition.
RETREAT STARTS: 10/19/17 at 7:00 p.m.
RETREAT ENDS: 10/22/17 at 12 p.m.
Check in begins at 5 p.m. on Thursday.
The daily activities includes:
** morning and afternoon yoga teaching sessions
** early morning Sunrise Yoga on the beach (optional)
** group dinner on Friday and Saturday nights
** group experiences on Friday and Saturday nights (optional)
** free time between the structured sessions to explore, play on the beach, and be in
your own rhythm.
ABOUT OUR ACCOMMODATIONS: The house is located across the street from
the beach in St. George Plantation, a private, gated community. The large room where
we will have our classes has a spectacular view of the ocean. We are a quick walk out
the boardwalk to the beach. The silent walk to the beach for sunrise yoga will be part of
our meditative practice each morning. The exact accommodations for sleeping depends
on the number of participants, but includes some shared beds and some singles, in
shared rooms. The house is very comfortable and just right for all of our retreat
activities. We will bring food to share for our group dinners and our own food for other
ABOUT YOUR RETREAT LEADER: Ellen has extensive experience as a group/retreat
leader, yoga teacher/yoga therapist, and psychotherapist. The annual St. George yoga beach
retreats have become highly anticipated gatherings that are always full of great delight!
Ellen will skillfully guide you throughout the weekend in yoga, pranayama, and meditations.
Ellen's passions are positive health and wellness, the integration of mind/body/spirit though
yoga in all its forms, bodywork, movement, and healing on all levels. She is excited to be
headed to the beach and looks forward to being with a wonderful group! Come join us!

The natural beach environment in late spring/early summer will
invite us to engage with the energy of new beginnings and
growth. Through the transformative practices of yoga and
mindfulness, we will experience the delight of connecting with
